Be it known that l, BERNHARD llnnnrnenn, of the city of New York, county of New York, and State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Non-Heiill able Bottles, of which the following is a specilication.
My invention relates to stoppers adapted to prevent the refilling of a bottle without destruction of the stopper itself or the neck of the bottle, and yet permit a continuous llow of the liquid in the bottle.

The lower end is turned inward after the mantle has been placed over the stopper and the neck of the bottle, thus fastening the stopper device to the bottle beneath its shoulder 2, as shown in Fig. 1. Between said recess 1, which is part of tube 5, and the top of bottle a washer is placed. Above-mentioned glass tube has its lower portion 6 inserted into the neck 7 of the bottle. On the extremity of said lower portion is formed a plurality of projections 8, pointing inward, thus forming a guide 9. The upper portion of the glass tube 5 is provided with a valve-chamber 10, the valve 11 being attached to a smaller tube 12, said tube having secured to its lower end a weight 13 On the inner surface of tube 12 is graduated. a ledge or sill 14, as shown in .Figs. 1. and 7, the latter ledge or sill allowing the rod 15,
which is connected to the lid 16, to press down upon it, and thus seal the valve. The lid 16 has a washer 17 provided on its lower plane; also, a hook-shaped pin 18 connected to body of said lid, pointing downward in a manner to allow the hook to embrace a tongue 19 when said lid. is slightly turned to the right, said tongue being fastened to the inner surface of a metal case 20, as shown in Fig. 41. This metal case is screwed onto the glass tube 5. Inside of said case is provided a guide 21, in which terminates the tube 12. Uh top of this guide is fastened a perforated plate 22 for the purpose of preventing instruments from reaching the valve. This object is further improved by providing a stop 30 at the middle of rod 15, which is connected to the lid 16, thus preventing said lid from being pulled upward more than three-eighths or one-half of an inch, enough to permit the liquid to flow freely.
The mmlus WW/MU of my invention is as follows: To allow the liquid in the bottle to flow freely out of its mouth, turn the lid 16 slightly to the left. The pin 18 will then disconnect with tongue 19. Pull the lid a little upward, and the rod 15 no longer presses on valve 11. Tilt the bottle, when the weight 13 on end of tube 12 will cause the said tube to move downward and open the valve, thus allowing the liquid to flow freely through the metal case 20 and out.
1N hat I claim as my invention is 1. In a bottle-stopper, the combination of a metal case with a glass tube united by means of a thread; said glass tube comprising a valvechamber.
2. Tn a bottlestoprmr, a glass tube having a lower narrow end adapted to be inserted loosely into the neck of a bottle, said lower end being provided at its extremity with a n umber of inward projections forming a circular guide for a tube connected with a valve above and weight below, in combination with a valve and weight, arranged substantially as shown and described.
3. in a bottle-stopper, a valve and a tube 19. provided with a ledge 14:, in combination with a lid and a pin fastened to the centerof said lid, said pin projecting loosely into the tube, pressing on the ledge therein, whereby the valve is sealed.
