My invenbion relates 130 improvements in toe-clips for bicycle-pedals.
My object is t0 provide a c1ip which engages the sole of the shoe on1y as distingished from those clips Whieh engage the npper ot the shoe above ehe S010 ar' 1d hurt the foot of 1she rider.
My further object is o0 provide a device of this dass whieh shall be simple in eonstruc- 11i0n, economical in eosb, reliable,durable,and efficien in use; am]. to these ends 1;he invenoion consists 0f "nhe features hereinafter described and claimed, all 0f Which Will be fully understood by reference 10 the accompanying drawings, in which is illustmtedan embodimenb there0f.

Let the numeral 5 designate 1:h0 toe-clip, which consists of a plate of suitable design having its re ar extremi1ay ben1z downwardly, as shown at 5, to fasten 130 13h'e peda1 6, while its forward extremity is prov-idedwith 1swo upwardly-turned hook-shaped Parts 5. Tlie parts 5 are baut pwardly gradually as they leave the plante, while their upper extremities are bent inwardly ab'rup'tzly' 110 engage the 130p of 1ahe S010, whereby the foot is hold seeurely in place on 1;he pedal against forvsfard or upward inovement.
