v:Ble it known that. I, MICHAL WAGNER, of Cincinnati, Hamilton county, Ohio, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Fountain-Pens; and I hereby declare the following-to be a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specification.
My invention relates to the class of pens having reservoirs of ink, with retaining and conducting material for supplying-the same to the nibs of 'the pen, and consists of a sheath, forming, with the body-of the pen, the reservoir for theinlc, and serving to retain the bristles inA place, the same being provided with fastening devices hereinafter described. In the accompanying drawing- Figure 1 is an exterior view of a pen and holder embodying my improvements.

A. is thepen, which may be enclosed as shown, to form a socket for the handle B. C is a metallic sheath, having a Acurved shank, D, adapted to -meet the body of the pen A, and form the reservoir for ink. The shank D is scalloped at E, to provide passages for the supply of ink t9 the reservoir when the pen is dipped into an n'kstand. The socket F of the sheath C is constructed to iit snugly into the socket of the4 pen A, tlie slot G in the pen andthe stud H in thc sheath C serving as guides for its proper adjustment.
