4. The combination, in a carrying-off table for tinning-machines having slats toreceive the tinned plates, of traveling carriers the cross-bars whereof pass below1 said slats,hooks or lingers extending up from said cross-bars to above said slats to catch and carry the plates, and Wipers secured to said hooks-or lingers and arranged to pass over and come in contact with said slats, whereby grease and fonlness which may accumulate thereon is removed and the plates passing over the table prevented from being fouled, substantially as set forth.
