Be it known that I, JOHN BIRNEY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Philadelphia, in-the county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Carpets, of which the following isa specification, reference being My invention relates to certain improve@` ments in carpets, and has for its object to. provide a durable carpet which maybe man u vfactured at small cost.
