IMPROVED HORSE-SHOE.
To ALL WHoM 1T MAY CONCERN:
Be it known that I, ALBERT S. WILKINSON, of Pawtucket, in the county of Providence, and'State of-Rhode Island, have invented a new and improved Rubber-Soled Horse-Shoe; and I do hereby declare the'followig to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, suieient to enable one skilled in the art4 to which the invention appertain'sto makeuse of it, reference being had 'to the accompanying drawing, which forms a part of this specifica-tion, in which- Figure l is a top view of my improved shoe, in which the rubber soleextends over thelwhole sole of the foot; and p f Figure 2'is a. vertical longitudinalsection taken in t-he line z z, fig; 1.

Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim as `new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
1. I claim a rubber soleB extending over the whole sole'of the foot, in combination with a stiffening metallic shoe a, substantially in the manner and for the purpose set forth.
2. And in combination with the above I claim the metallic shield lc, substantially in the manner and fof the purpose set forth. i
3. I claim the air-cushion P, in combination with the flap R, substantially in the manner and'for the purpose set forth.
