To all whom it may concern: Be it known that I, HEINRICH FRoBsn, a' subject of the King of Prussia, Emperor of Germany, residing at Bielefeld, in the Kingdem of Prussia, Germany, have invented eertain new and useful Improvements-in or Relating to Lubricators, (for which I have applied for a patent in Germany, filed June 3, 1898; in England, No. 13,118, :filed June 1-1, 1898; in France, led June 11, 1898, and in Belgium, filed 'June 20, 1898,) of lwhich the following is a specification.
This invention relates-to improvements in lubricators, and is especiallyapplieable Vfor use on cycle and similar bearings, and is illustrated in the accompanying drawings in-a form suitable for cycle Wheels and bearings. The device is provided with a doubleclosure for preventing dustfrom penetrating in to the bearings, the inner closure being effected by a plug shutting oil" completely the lubricatorhole from the bearings, while the second additional closure is formed by a cover, both the closures being actuated, as hereinafter described, by a single manipulation.

I claim- 1. The combination ofa body having a channel therein, a plug mounted to turn inthe channel and having a passage capable of registering with the channel, and a cover connected with the plug so as to swing over the body, the plug and cover being joined, s6 that as the plug moves to closed position, the cover moves over the channel in the body.
2. The combination of a body portion having a channel therein, a plug mounted in the body portion to command the channel, anda cover moving over the body portion in unison with the plug to command the channel.
3. lhe combination of a spherical body portion having aehanuel, a plug mounted in the body portion and commanding the channel,
anda curved cover attached to the plugand moving vcr the body portion in lunison with -the pluglo command the channel.
