The length of the feeding-*stroke of the shaft .D is determined, as herein shown, by a plug D?, (see Fig. 1,) having a shank portion provided with teeth engaged by a piniontt on a suitable rotatablel stud 4:5, vwhich maybe v'pressed -by a pin 46 or otherwise, ifs-being held when left in suitable manner.
