It is well known that it is, often necessary to use courtplaster for various wounds and bruises when the means of cutting the plaster are not at hand; besides it is often desirable to carry the plaster already cut for use, that it may be applied at oneelin case of necessity.
To enable others skilled in the art to cut and use my new assortment of court-plaster, the method of cutting and applying the same.
No. 1 in the accompanying box of specimens is cut in the ordinary manner, about four times as long as it is wide, and the ends made semicircular. No. 2 is cut in the form of an ellipse. No.3 is cut in a rectangular form, the corners being rounded. Nos. 4 and 7 are cut in a circular form, having different diameters. No. 5 is out about twice as long as it is wide, the ends being semicircular. No. 6 is out about one and a half times as long as it is wide. No. 8 is cut in a triangular shape, the ends being rounded.
I cut various sizes of each of the above numbers and put them up in different-sized boxes or packages to meet the public demand. Any other kind of plaster may be cut and put up in the same manner. Ihe cloth or paper may be out, as above described, in the various forms either before or after the plaster is spread on it.
