To. all whom may concern:
Be it known that I, DANIEL B. RUFFNER,
a citizen of the United States, residing inthe will be hereinafter set forth.
city and county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have, invented a new and useful Improvement in Clamps for Railroad-Rails, which improvement is fully set forth in the following specification and accompanying drawings.
My invention consists ofimprovements in clamps for guard or other railroad rails, as

Referring to the drawingsi=-A designates two hollowcheek pieces orclamps, whose inner sides conform to the shape of the upper faces of the flanges, and the sides of the webs and'heads of the rails B and C, so as to embrace the same.
