ELECTRIC WARMING-BOTTLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 490,891, dated January 31, 1893.

Be it known thatI, THOMAS AHEARN, of the city of Ottawa,-in the county of Carleton and Province of Ontario, in the Dominion of Canada, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Electric arming-Bottles; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part hereof.
lWIy invention, which will be hereinafter fully set forth and claimed, relates to appliances used for the application of artificial heat to parts of the body.
The object of any invention is a water hottle in which the water is being heated continuously by means of an electric current.
Figure 1 is a perspective view of my improved warming bottle and Fig. 2 is a top view of the same with the upper part removed, showing the resistance coil.
A is a bottle or bag of flexible water-proof material, such as india-rubber, or rubber fabric. It is provided with a long neck B having flaring mouth I), by means of which it may be readily filled with water.
