TOY OR PUZZLE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 486,141, dated November 15, 1892.

Application filed November 3, 1891. Serial No. 410.788. (No model.)

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, EDOUARD DE VIRGILE, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city, county, and State of New York, have invented and designed a new, useful, and original Toy or Puzzle, of which the following .is a specification, reference being had to the drawings herewith submitted and forming a part thereof.

Figure 1 represents the three parts or pieces of celluloid or other thin tough flexible material of which the toy orpuzzle is composed, taken separately and apart. Fig. 2 represents the said three parts or pieces composing the toy or puzzle joined or combined together in such a manner as to give rise to the problem which constitutes the puzzleviz., how to separate them Without tearing, destroying, or injuring the parts or any of them; Fig. 3, as far as practicable, the solution of the problem or puzzleviz.,the mannerof takingthe pieces apart as aforesaid.

What I claim is- In a puzzle, the combination of three pieces of celluloid or similar thin tough flexible material of the shape and relative proportions described, and illustrated in the drawings above referred to, and for the purpose set forth.
