In, a companion application, Serial 'No. 428,384, filed April 8, 1892,'1 have shown 'and described mechanism for imparting' a-simultaneous rotary movement to two spool-snpports, the spools being maintained in a constant relation to each other, whereby the ribbon is also rotated bodily, ths causing the ribbon in acircle inscribed between the margins.. The machine described in s aid'a,r )plication moves the ribbon longitudinally but once during each lateral rotation.
