EDWIN G. KING, OF SOUTH HAMMOND, NEW YORK.
VETERINARY REMEDY.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 417,565, dated December 17, 1889.
Application filed June 1, 1889. Serial No. 312,84. (No specimens.)
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, EDWIN G. KING, a citizen of the United States, residing at South Hammond, in the county of St. Lawrence and State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Medicinal Compounds; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
My invention is a veterinary remedy; and the object of my said invention is to facilitate the removal of the placenta after parturition in domestic animals, especially the cow.
My medicinal compound is composed of the following ingredients, in about the proportions stated, viz: slippery elm, two ounces;
fenugreek, two ounces; ergot, one ounce.
These ingredients are thoroughly mixed and 20 nary remedy, consisting of slippery elm, fenngreek, and ergot, in about the proportions stated.
