, Be it known that 1, SALOMON Harman's, of the city of NewYork, in the county and State of New York, a citizen of Germany, have invented certain new and usef..lnprovements in Insulated \Vires, of which he following is a specification.
This invention relates to an improved insulated wire for electric purposes, which wire 5 irallv around the wires, sex I to is covered with fire and water proof covering i-Een coated with iii-solution, f,0f ut-taercha 5o w ich'ag'a'n that forms at the same time a superior insu- Qlator; and the invention consists of an insulated electric wire, which is first covered with cotton thread and with a mixture of soluble x 5 glass and glycerine and next with a mixture of pulverized plumbago and pumice-stone, which layer is then covered by a protective covering formed of a layer of rubber cloth, a rubber pipe, and a suitable hose, so as to form a cable.

Having thus described my invention,l claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Pat ent- 1. 2. An insulating-covering for electric wires,
the application of Salomon Heimann, of New York, .HQYg for enjimprovement in 7 Insulated Wires, were erroneously issued to said Her h and Frank L. Pommer 6 as owners of the entire interest in said invention; that said Letters Patent should have been issued to said Heimann and said Pommer, William Meyer and Henry Osborne, Q of New York, N. Y., and Johann Steneok, of Hoboken, New Jersey, said Meyer, Osborne, and Steneck being assignees of one-twentieth each of said invention es shown by 2 assignments of record in this oflice; and that said I etters Patent should be read I g with this correction therein that the same may conform to the recordof the case in the f Patent-Office. r

Y., and Johann Steneok, of Hoboken, New Jersey, said Meyer, Osborne, of one-twentieth each of said invention as shown by assignments of record in this office; and that said Letters Patent should be read with this correction therein that the same may conform to the record of the case in the latent Office.
