It can be established very simply that this inequality between the forces T and T results in a condition of the angles A, C and B.

However, for other reasons and especially to facilitate the operation of the safety system, especially during a lateral fall, it is preferable to limit the angle A to values comprised between 10 and 35 and preferably in the vicinity of 30.
  • the profile of the ramp fixed on the bridge member must be such that the angle formed by the tangent to the profile of this ramp and a straight line perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the ski is constantly greater than or equal to the angle formed by the longitudinal axes of the boot and of the ski.
