  • a fluidic bistable device performs the switching function and a fluidic proportional amplifier provides the pressure recovery, the outputs of the bistable device being used to provide control pressures for the proportional amplifier.
  • a flow restrictor is connected in one output of the bistable device and a further flow restrictor is connected between the proportional amplifier control connections. A predetermined pressure ratio therefore exists between these control connections.
