Abstract

Members of generally boomerang shape but having outwardly extending hooks are adapted to be thrown by players at a spaced fixed target whereby, if properly aimed and thrown, the member will hook onto the target. The target includes a plurality of vertically extending lengths of rope supporting a plurality of vertically spaced balls.

The players take turns throwing the members from a selected distance at the target. A member properly aimed and thrown will be so oriented, when arriving at the target, that a hook thereof will engage a length and will slide down until it contacts a ball whereby it is held in place, i.e., is hooked to the target.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Referring now to FIGS. 1-3, a flat curved boomerang l0 1 having an outer convex curved edge 12 is provided at each of the midpoint. My target comprises a plurality of spaced extending outward from end with a separate outwardly extending coplanar curved hook I and is provided with an additional -like coplanar hook edge 12 adjacent the midpoint thereof.

-My target comprises a vertical post 16 having a bottom pointed end 18 which can be forced into the ground. Two or more'horizontally extending members 20 intersecting at their midpoints to the top end of the post. A vertical length of flexible rope 22 or the like is associated with each end of each member 20, being secured thereto and hanging downward therefrom. A plurality of vertically spaced balls 24 are secured to each rope, for example, by having axial bores through which the rope can extend.

When my throwing member is properly aimed and thrown at the target, for example at a distance of 40 feet, it can hook itself thereon as shown.

While I have described my invention with particular reference to the drawings, such is not to be considered as limiting its actual scope.

-'I claim:

1. A game comprising: a. atarget; b. said target including means supporting a plurality of spaced, parallel, vertically extending lengths of rope, c. each of said ropes supporting a plurality of vertically spaced balls; d. a throwing member, c. said throwing member being a flat, boomerang-shaped element with a convex, curved outer edge and three hooks secured to said element, in a coplanar relationship, integral therewith, and extending therefrom.

Claims

1. A game comprising: A. A TARGET; B. SAID TARGET INCLUDING MEANS SUPPORTING A PLURALITY OF SPACED, PARALLEL, VERTICALLY EXTENDING LENGTHS OF ROPE, C. EACH OF SAID ROPES SUPPORTING A PLURALITY OF VERTICALLY SPACED BALLS; D. A THROWING MEMBER, E. SAID THROWING MEMBER BEING A FLAT, BOOMERANG-SHAPED ELEMENT WITH A CONVEX, CURVED OUTER EDGE AND THREE HOOKS SECURED TO SAID ELEMENT, IN A COPLANAR RELATIONSHIP, INTEGRAL THEREWITH, AND EXTENDING THEREFROM.
