  • an electric heating and heat radiating plate made of heatresistant material adapted to be mounted in said opening, comprising an upper plate provided with a plurality of upwardly directed jet-shaped nozzle openings for radiating the heat and maintaining food warm, a lower portion of smaller cross section fixed to and located below said upper plate, said lower portion extending through said opening and enclosing a chamber having a bottom wall provided with a plurality of downwardly directed heat discharge openings, for maintaining a patron's feet warm and an electric quartz heating element of 30-50 watts located in said chamber, such that the heat it generates may leave said chamber upwardly through said nozzle-shaped openings and downwardly through said discharge openings, the upper plate and the lower portion consisting of a heat-resistant ceramic material.
