I claim as my invention- 1. An induction-coil consisting of the combination of a series of thin sheet-iron rings placed side by side, and having inwardly and outwardly projecting teeth, and primary and secondary coils wound thereupon at right angles,to the direction of the laminse of the plates.
2. An induction-coil consisting of a series of thin iron plates, having teeth upon its inner and outer peripheries and two conductors wound between the teeth.
3. The combination, substantially as here- 2o wound in'the spaces between the teeth, substant-ially as described.
