  • This invention refers to an improved display container, and more concretely consists of a container comprising a vessel adequate for holding caramels of any kind, especially those with a stem for holding same, the vessel being closed by means of a special cover whose form is derived from a truncated cone that is provided with orifices into which supports are forcibly fitted for holding the extremities of the stems of the caramels, and which supports are flush with the surface of their seating.

A47f 3/00, 7/00 2 Claims ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention refers to an improved display container, and more concretely consists of a container comprising a vessel adequate for holding caramels of any kind, especially those with a stem for holding same, the vessel being closed by means of a special cover whose form is derived from a truncated cone that is provided with orifices into which supports are forcibly fitted for holding the extremities of the stems of the caramels, and which supports are flush with the surface of their seating.
A cylindrical hollow body projects from the smaller base of the truncated cone to receive axially the stem of a plate of essentially publicity character.
In order to aid explanation, a sheet of drawings accompanies this specification, in which drawing a realization of the invention is shown as an example, in which:
FIGURE 1 represents a perspective view of the display container.

From the figures it will be seen: a vessel 1 cylindrical in form and preferably made of transparent material, comprising the cover 2 of practically truncated cone form with steps on its surface, in whose track orifices 3 are provided for receiving under pressure the moulded pieces 4 that are seated by their flanged borders against the mentioned surface of the cover, and which pieces are provided with blind axial conduits into which penetrate the extremities of the stems 7 of the caramels 8.
A cylindrical member 9 projects from the upper base of the truncated cone, to receive the stem support 10 of the publicity plate 11.
What I claim is:
1. A display container for caramels and the like each having a stem comprising a cylindrical transparent vessel for a supply of said caramels, a cover for said vessel comprising a series of truncated cone convergent steps extending to a vertex, a cylindrical member at said vertex extending outwardly for a display card, each step of said convergent steps having a series of openings, pieces tightly fitted into said openings, each of said pieces having a blind bore to hold said stems.
2. A display container as set forth in claim 1 wherein each of said pieces is provided with a flange contacting the outer surface of said cover.
