The present invention is concerned with a nozzle for a gas lighter, characterized in that several gas projecting routes open closely together at the bottom of the nozzle mouth with said gas routes leading through the flux controlling valve which is fitted to the wall of a compressed liquid gas tank, the said nozzle mouth being a hollow provided on the top of a mouth piece tube of a gas lighter.
The structure of the nozzle of a gas lighter according to this invention becomes more evident from the following description of the drawings, in which: FIG. 1 shows a main portion in vertical section of a gas lighter having the nozzle according to this invention; FIG. 2A is a vertical sectional view of the said nozzle; FIG. 2B is a top View of the same; FIG. 3A is a vertical sectional view of another example of the nozzle according to this invention; and FIG. 3B is a horizontal sectional view of the said example.
In the example illustrated by FIG. 2A, a twisted wire 4 made of two wires is interposed tightly in nozzle tube 3 having a conical mouth 2 at the exterior end thereof. Spiral spaces between the surface of the hollow spiral portions of the said twisted wire and the inner wall of nozzle tube 3 constitutes the gas projecting routes 1. Those routes form two projecting mouths 5 opening at the bottom of mouth 2 consisting of the inner wall of the said tube and the upper part of twisted line 4. The nozzle of this gas lighter is formed on the control wheel 6 of the project controlling valve of the lighter as illustrated in FIG. 1. This controlling valve is designed such that the main part of the valve spirally protrudes or retracts out of or into valve housing 7 by rotating control wheel 6, which spiral protrusion or retraction controls the size of valve clearance 10 between control valve rod 9 and valve element 8 by pressing or loosening of rubber valve element 8.
By the method described above, gas flux projected from gas projecting months 5 may be controlled. When the projected flux is comparatively small, project pressure at project mouths Sis low, so that gases from separate routes mix in flame mouth 2 and consequently one flame 11 is formed.
On the contrary, when projected flux is relatively large and project pressure is high, gases from separate routes constitute correspondingly separate gas currents to form separate flames 12, regardless of flame mouth 2.
When twisted wire 4 in the above example to form projecting routes according to this invention is replaced by cylindrical plug 14 having narrow channels 13, in tube 3 to form projecting routes with mouth 2, one flame 11 or several flames 12 may be also obtained as the former example.
Further, the same result may be obtained when, in the example shown in FIG; 3A, the thin channels are provided in the inner wall of tube 3 with the plug itself being a cylindrical rod.
The number of projecting routes 1 is optional, but preferably the number of 2 to 4 may be applied in practice.
The nozzle of the gas lighter according to this invention being composed as described above, one or several "ice flames occur according to the controlling of the flux of projecting gas, so that, when the gas lighter with this nozzle is practically used, not only a certain size of flame may be obtained automatically by such a simple visional controlling as controlling the flux controlling valve so as to provide one flame, but also two flames may be obtained, when projecting routes 1 are provided with two routes, which enables two persons to ignite their cigarettes at the same time to give this gas lighter a characteristic of a romatic use.
What I claimis:
1. In a gas lighter having a gas outlet controlling valve and an exterior control wheel for said valve, a gas nozzle compris ng a nozzle tube provided on said control wheel and having a bore in communication with said gas controlling valve for receiving gas therefrom under various pressures as controlled by said control wheel providing varying flame formations as desired, said nozzle tube bore having a conical mouth with the outer end thereof being wider than the inner end of said conical mouth, means positioned in said nozzle tube bore providing a plurality of gas routes with said nozzle tube bore opening closely together in said' tube bore below and adjacent to said tube bore mouth inner end.
2. In a gas lighter having a gas outlet controlling valve and an exterior control wheel for said valve, a gas nozzle comprising a nozzle tube provided on said control wheel and having a bore in communication with said gas controlling valve for receiving gas therefrom under various pressures as controlled by said control wheel providing varying flame formations as desired, said nozzle tube bore having a conical mouth with the outer end thereof being wider than the inner end of said conical mouth, a twisted wire positioned in said tube bore below said conical mouth providing gas routes which are the spiral spaces between the periphery of said wire and the wall of said tube boreand said wire having an end positioned adjacent said tube bore mouth inner end.
3. In a gas lighter having a gas outlet controlling valve and an exterior control wheel for said valve, a gas nozzle comprising a nozzle tube provided on said control wheel and having a bore in communication with said gas controlling valve for receiving gas therefrom under various pressures as controlled by said control wheel providing varying flame formations as desired, said nozzle tube bore having a conical mouth with the outer end thereof being wider than the inner end of said conical mouth, a cylindrical plug positioned in said nozzle tube bore below said conical mouth and having peripheral channels providing gas routes with the wall of said nozzle tube bore, said cylindrical plug having a conical end positioned adjacent said tube bore mouth inner end providing a flame opening for said nozzle.

Claims (1)

1. IN A GAS LIGHTER HAVING A GAS OUTLET CONTROLLING VALVE AND AN EXTERIOR CONTROL WHEEL FOR SAID VALVE, A GAS NOZZLE COMPRISING A NOZZLE TUBE PROVIDED ON SAID CONTROL WHEEL AND HAVING A BORE IN COMMUNICATION WITH SAID GAS CONTROLLING VALVE FOR RECEIVING GAS THEREFROM UNDER VARIOUS PRESSURES AS CONTROLLED BY SAID CONTROL WHEEL PROVIDING VARYING FLAME FORMATIONS AS DESIRED, SAID NOZZLE TUBE BORE HAVING A CONICAL MOUTH WITH THE OUTER END THEREOF BEING WIDER THAN THE INNER END OF SAID CONICAL MOUTH, MEANS POSITIONED IN SAID NOZZLE TUBE BORE PROVIDING A PLURALITY
