In a window control, mechanism for raising and lowering a window in a motor vehicle body, a pair of crossed regulator arms having slidable connections with the lower portion of said window, said regulator arms being supported upon said vehicle body beneath the central portion of the closed position of saidwindow, one of said crossed regulator arms having a curved slot formed therein, means carried by the other of said regulator arms slidable withinvsaid slot and forming the sole connection between said arms, a curved generally vertically extending guideway mounted on said vehicle body, adjacent one end of the closed positionof said window, means on said window slidably engaging said guideway, said last mentioned means in cooperation with said guideway being eifective to control movement of the window laterally of the direction of raising and loweringmovements thereof, and regulator mechanism operatively connected to one of said regulator arms to raise and lower said window in a predetermined path.

In a window control mechanism for raising and lowering a window in a motor vehicle body, a vpair of regulator arms supported.uponsaidvehiclebody for swinging movements and having connections to saidiwindow at spaced points, actuating means pivotally mounted on said vehicle body, means pivotally connecting said actuating means to one of said regulator arms for imparting swinging movement thereto, and cam means on an intermediate part of one of said regulator. arms engageable ,withan, intermediate part of the other of said regulatorarms, said cam means being effective to control the movements of said regulator arms in a predetermined relationship toraise and lower said window.

In a window control mechanism for raising and lowering a window inamotor vehicle body, a generally vertically extending guideway mounted upon said vehicle body, means on said window slidably engaging said guideway, a pair of regulator arms supported upon said vehicle body for pivotal movement and having sliding connections with the lower portion of said windowat spaced points, regulator mechanism for actuating one of said regulator arms to raise and lower said window, means pivotally connecting said regulator mechanism to said one .regulatorarm, a curved guideway on one of said regulator arms, and a'follower on the other of said regulator arms slidably engaging said curved guideway and movable therealong to control the relationship between said regulator arms as said window is raised and lowered. 7

In a window control mechanism for raising and lowering a window into and out of a storage space in a vehicle body, a first window regulator arm pivotally connected at one end thereof to said vehicle body for swinging movement about a fixed axis located intermediate the ends of said storage space, means pivotally connecting the other end of said first regulator arm to said window adjacent one end of the latter, a regulator member pivotally mounted upon said vehicle body intermediate the ends of said storage space, a second regulator arm pivotally connected at one end to said regulator member for swinging movement relative to the latter and for bodily shiftable movementv thereby, the pivot axis of said second regulator arm being spaced from the pivot axis of said regulator member, coacting cam means on intermediate portions of said regulator arms, means actuating said regulator member to cause bodily shiftable movement of said second regulator arm to efiect raising or lowering of said window, said coacting cam means being effective to transmit movement of said -second arm, to said first arm to maintain said window in a predetermined condition of, stability, and coacting :means. on saidvehicle body and window adjacent the :other end of; the latter eifective to, control movement of thevwindow laterally of the direction .of raising and -lowering movements thereof.
