I VAULT COVER AND VENTILATOR.

Be it known that I, AUGUST W. HERE, a. citizen of the United States of America, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Vault-Covers and Ventilators, of which the following is a specification,

In order to enable others skilled in the art to which my invention appertains to make and use the same, Iwill now proceed to de-- scribe its construction and operation, referring to the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure l is a plan view of my device; Fig. 2, a side view of the same; Fig. 3, a view of one of the hinged sections, and Fig. 4 a sectional view, somewhat enlarged, of one-half of my cover'or frame and one of its hinged sections. p A representsa cast fpamaof circular, rectangular, or any desired form, provided with a central cross or division bar, A, and having its inner under edges rabbeted out for the reception of two or more doors or sections, B, which are secured to the central division-bar, A, by strap-hinges cm, as shown.
