FLASKYOR BOTTLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 284,127, dated Au ust 28, 1883,
Application filed April 28,1883. (No model.) v
To CbZZ whom, it ma concern.-
Be it known that I, JAcoB GRUENEBAUM, a subject of the Emperor of Germany, residing in the city of New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Flasks or Bottles; and
l I do hereby declare that the following is a full,
clear, and exact description of the invention, which will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
My invention relates to improvements in flasks, bottles, and jugs, and other like vessels for holding wines, liquors, perfumeries, and other fluids; and the object of my improvement is a flask or other vessel so constructed as to hold separate at the same time two or more different kinds of fluids, and provided with a separate neck and mouth for each different kind of fluid. I attain this object by separating the flask, bottle, or other vessel into two or more compartments or chambers by means of a partition or partitions, and giving to each compartment or chamber a separate neck and mouth.
. neck to each chamber isinclined from theperpendicular at any desired angle, and'the necks of two contiguous'chambers are inclined in opposite directions. The useful purposesof such inclination are, .among 'others, to facilitate drinking and pouring any liquid from the flask.
The inclination of the neck through whichthe liquid is to be poured obviates the raising of the flask as high as when the neck is straight,
and renders drinking therefrom more convenient, while the inclination of the other neck in the opposite direction obviates contact between it and the face. A further useful purpose of such inclination is that a place is provided at c c, Fig. 1, for fastening a strap or cord to the flask, bywhich it may be suspended from the person orfrom a belt. This is especially useful when the flask is used for the purposes of a canteen, or on afishing orhunting excursion. What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, ist A flask or bottle having two or more separate chambers, each chamber provided with a separate neck at the same end of the bottle,
said necks being inclined in different directions, substantiallyas described, as and for the purposes as described.
