SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 270,196, dated January 2, 18 83.
Application filed October 31, 1882. (N0 model.)
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JAMES A. WYNNE, of Poores Mills, in the county of (lolquitt and State of Georgia, have invented a new and Improved Spring-Seat Saddle, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.. My invention relates to improvements in spring-seat saddles; and it consists in the peculiar construction and arrangement of parts, as hereinafter fully described, and pointed out in the claim.

The saddle is composed of the usual saddleframeor bottom seat, A, and the top seat, B, which is above the seat A, and is supported bya series of spiral springs, 0, preferably four. resting on the lower seat, A. The ends of the springs are firmly secured in the top. and bottom seats, A B. respectively, and the two front springs, G, as well as the two rear springs, are connected by metal straps or hands D, secured transversely to the under Fig. 5 is an enlarged deside of the top seat, B, at the front and rear.
