HOLDER FOR SPOOLS OF WRAPPING Jack G. Inman, Carrollton, 11].
Application December 6, 1951, Serial No.
7 Claims.
This invention relates generally to holders for wrapping cord and more specifically to such a device which is adapted for use in association with manner that the spool of cord is disposed out of sight beneath the counter, or other support, and with only an ornate cord dispensing portion appearing above the counter, or other support.
Fig. 1 is a side elevational view illustrating one of the holders for spools of wrapping cord of the element by which the holder is supported being shown in Fig. 1.
Fig. 2 is an enlarged vertical section taken on line 22 of Fig. 1.
Fig. 3 is an enlarged fragmentary section taken on line 33 of Fig. 2.
Fig. 4 is an enlarged fragmentary section taken on line i-4 of Fig.2.
Fig. 5 is an enlarged horizontal on line 55 of Fig. 2.
In the drawing, wherein is shown for purposes section taken an opening B formed through a, counter B, or other supporting structure. At the lower end thereof the tubular member I has a pair of opposed inverted L-shaped slots 2 formed therein, each of said slots having a vertical portion 2a The holder A includes also a head 6 which is provided with a cavity 1 that receives the upper portion of the tubular member I, as is shown to good advantage in Fig. 2, the head 6 and the upper portion of the tubular member I being cecurved cordpasat its lower end is provided with and said groove is of ping cord to the cord holder A the tated in the appropriate direction to bring the proturberances 4 of said cap in alinement with of'isaid tubularmember,
shown at S in Fig. 2. It will be noted that the head 6 provided with, an integral projection i2 -1e h te e ie e the sees d ort on 10' of the blade [0. The projection protects the cutting edge of the blade from damage and it also makes it less likely that a persons hand would come into contact with the exposed cutting portion of the blade.
I claim:
