Any simple clip, or a rubber band, may be adequate for this purpose. However, as a widely used commercial product, the syringe should be complete and fool-proof. A preferred form of clasp, as shown in the drawings, comprises a special form of rubber band in cooperative relation with a pair of knobs 29 on the ring 28 having neck portions 3| to receive the rubber band and prevent too easy removal thereof. The rubber band, which may be cut by conventional methods from specially extruded stock, has two outer loops 32 and a small central. loop 33, the latter being of a size to ensure retention on one of the knobs 29. With the central loop thus mounted, and the tube I 9 in folded condition, the outer loops 32 of the band are grasped by end tabs 35 and stretched across opposite sides of the ring 28 so that each may be looped around the opposite knob. This prevents unfolding. As sold, the bag will contain a watersoluble antiseptic substance 34 and, therefore, the package will be shipped with tube H! in the folded and secured position shown in Fig. 6. Sale of the package with the tube thus folded is of further advantage in that it clearly instructs the user as to the manner of closing and securing the filler opening.

With the nozzle 22 and powder 34 in place, and tube l9 sealed off, the nozzle is folded upon the bag to prevent outflow of the powder. Further folding of the article to provide a minimum of volume for placement in an outer container of wax paper or the like may be accomplished in any convenient manner. The volume of the article when folded will not be much greater than the combined volume of the nozzle 22, ring 28 and powder 34, the actual volume of the plastic bag itself being small.

While a certain preferred form of the invention has been shown and described, the same is not strictly limited thereby, since certain changes in the exact shape, form and arrangement, for instance, of the various parts, may be resorted to without departing from from the spirit or scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims.

What is claimed is:

1. A disposable syringe comprising a fiat of hcat-sealable plastic sheeting, a first extension on said bag forming a filler opening, a reinforcing ring secured at the mouth of opening, said first extension being of sufiicient len th to allow for folding thereof by turning said. 1mg, a second extension on said bag, and a spray nozzle located in said second extension.

2. A disposable syringe comprising a fiat bag of heat-sealable plastic sheeting, a first extension on said bag forming a filler opening, a reinforcing ring secured at the mouth of said opening, said first extension being of sufficient length to allow for folding thereof by turning said ring, a second extension on said bag, and a spray nozzle located in said second extension, said filler opening having a greater area than the opening of said second extension and said nozzle having an inner, enlarged portion adapted to pass through said filler opening but to be retained by said second extension.

A disposable syringe comprising a flat bag of heat-sealable plastic sheeting, a first extension on said bag forming a filler opening, a reinforcing ring secured at the mouth of said opening, said first extension being of 'sufiicientlength to allow for folding thereof by turning said ring, a second extension on said bag, and a spray nozzle located in said second extension, said filler opening having a greater area than the opening of said second extension and said nozzle having an inner, flared portion adapted to pass through said filler opening but to be retained by said second extension.

4. A disposable syringe comprising a flat bag of heat-sealable plastic sheeting, a first extension on said bag forming a filler opening, a reinforcing ring secured at the mouth of said opening, said first extension being of sufiicient length to allow for folding thereof by turnin said ring,

a second extension on said bag, and a spray nozzle located in said second extension, said filler opening having a greater area than the opening of said second extension and said nozzle having an inner, flared portion adapted to pass through said filler opening but to be retained by said second extension, and said second extension having a flared portion adapted to mate with the said flaredportion of said nozzle.

A disposable syringe comprising a fiat bag of heat-sealable plastic sheeting, a first extension on said bag forming a filler opening, a reinforcing ring secured at the mouth of said opening, said first extension being of sufiicient length to allow for folding thereof by turning said ring, a second extension on said bag, and a spray nozzle located in said second extension, said ring being oblate with its longer dimension parallel to the plane of the bag in flat condition whereby to facilitate folding of said first extension.

A disposable syringe comprising a flat bag of plastic sheeting, a first extension on said bag forming a filler opening, a reinforcing ring secured at the mouth of said opening, said first extension being of sufiicient length to allow for folding thereof by turning said ring, a second extension on said bag, a spray nozzle located in said second extension, and clamp means carried by said ring for holding said first extension in folded condition.

A disposable syringe comprising a flat bag of plastic sheeting, a first extension on said bag forming a filler opening, a reinforcing ring secured at the mouth of said opening, said first extension being of sufficient length to allow for folding thereof by turning said ring, a second extension on said bag, and a spray nozzle located in said second extension, said ring having outer lugs adapted to anchor a rubber band or the like for holding said first extension in folded condi tion.

A disposable syringe comprising a fiat bag of plastic sheeting, a first extension on said bag forming a filler opening, a reinforcing ring secured at the mouth of said opening, said first ex tension being of sufficient length to allow for folding thereof by turning said ring, a second extension on said bag, and a spray nozzle located in said second extension, said extensions being located on the same end of the bag.

A disposable syringe comprising a fiat bag of plastic sheeting, a first extension on said has forming a filler opening, a reinforcing ring secured at the mouth of said opening, said first extension being of sufficient length to allow for folding thereof by turning said ring, a second extension on said bag, and a spray nozzle located in said second extension, said ring being oblate and having outer knobs located in line with. the long dimension of the ring, for anchoring a rubber band or the like to hold said first extension in folded condition.

A disposable syringe comprising a flat bag of heat-sealable plastic sheeting, a first extension on said bag forming a filler opening, a reinforcing ring secured at the mouth of said opening, said first extension being of sufiicient length to allow for folding thereof by turning said ring longitudinally of said extension to close said opening, a second extension on said bag, and a spray nozzle of soft, rubber-like material located in said second extension.

A disposable syringe comprising a fiat bag of plastic sheeting, a first extension on said bag forming a filler opening, a, reinforcing ring secured at the mouth of said opening, said first extension being of sufficient length to allow for folding thereof by turning said ring, a second extension on said bag, a spray nozzle located in said second extension, and releasable means to hold said first extension in folded condition.

The combination of an air and water impervious cover, a disposable syringe in folded condition inside said cover, and an antiseptic powder contained in said syringe, said syringe comprising a fiat bag of relatively thin, disposable Water impervious sheet material, a first extension on said bag forming a filler opening, a reinforcing ring secured at the mouth of said opening, said ring also constituting means for folding said extension longitudinally upon itself to close said opening, releasable means holding said first extension in folded condition, a second extension on said bag, and a spray nozzle located in said second extension, said nozzle being turned back upon said bag and being held turned back by said cover.

A disposable syringe comprising a fiat bag of plastic sheeting, a first extension on said bag forming a filler opening, a reinforcing ring secured at the mouth of said opening, said first extension being of sufficient length to allow for folding thereof by turning said ring, a second extension on said bag, a spray nozzle located in said second extension, said ring having a pair of outer lugs, and a rubber band having a small loop carried on one of said lugs, and a larger loop adapted to engage the other of said lugs.

A disposable syringe comprising a, fiat bag of plastic sheeting, a first extension on said bag forming a filler opening, a reinforcing ring secured at the mouth of said opening, said first extension being of suflicient length to allow for folding thereof by turning said ring, a second extension on said bag, a spray nozzle located in said second extension, said ring having a pair of op positely disposed outer lugs, and a rubber band having a small loop carried on one of said lugs, and a larger loop adapted to engage the other of said lugs.

A disposable syringe comprising a fiat bag of plastic sheeting, a first extension on said bag forming a filler opening, a reinforcing ring secured at the mouth of said opening, said first extension being of sufiicient length to allow for folding thereof by turning said ring, a second extension on said bag, a spray nozzle located in said second extension, said ring having a pair of oppositely disposed outer lugs, and a rubber band having a small loop carried on one of said lugs, and a larger loop adapted to engage the other of said lugs, said ring being oblate and said lugs being arranged in the line of the major axis of said ring.

A disposable syringe comprising a flat bag of plastic sheeting, a first extension on said bag forming a filler opening, a reinforcing ring secured at the mouth of said opening, said first extension being of sufficient length to allow for folding thereof by turning said ring, a second extension on said bag, a spray nozzle located in said second extension, said ring having a pair of outer lugs, and a rubber band having a small intermediate loop carried on one of said lugs, and two larger, outer loops, each adapted to engage the other of said lugs.

1"]. A syringe comprising a bag having a tubular filler extension, a reinforcing ring of material which is rigid relative to the material of the bag, and means carried by said ring and adapted to clamp said extension in folded condition.

18. A syringe comprising a bag having a tubular filler extension, a reinforcing ring of material which is rigid relative to the material of the bag, a pair of opposed outer lugs on said ring, and a resilient, clamping band anchored on one of said lugs and adapted to also engage the other of said lugs.

19. A syringe comprising a bag having a tubular filler extension, an oblate reinforcing ring of material Which is rigid relative to the material of the bag, a pair of opposed outer lugs on said ring, and a resilient, clamping band anchored on one of said lugs and adapted to also engage the other of said lugs.

20. A syringe comprising a flat bag of relatively thin disposable sheet material, a first extension on said bag forming a filler opening, a reinforcing ring secured at the mouth of said opening, said ring also constituting means for folding said extension longitudinally upon itself to close said opening, means engageable with said ring for keeping said opening closed, a second extension on said bag, and a spray nozzle slidably received in said second extension.

21. A syringe comprising a flat bag of relatively thin, disposable water impervious sheet material, a first extension on said bag forming a filler opening, a reinforcing ring secured at the mouth of said opening, said ring also constituting means for folding said first extension upon itself to close said opening, releasable means holding said first extension in folded condition, a second extension on said bag substantially parallel with said first extension and on the same side of the bag as said first extension, and a spray nozzle held in anti-leaking position in said second extension.
