'I'he upward movement of the lever portion 26 is restricted by a detent bolt 68, best seen in Figure 3, suitably attached to the platform at the forward end ithereof and extending upwardly through an elongated opening in the portion 30 of the main body portion 26. The
head of the bolt 68 is larger than the width of the detent bolt 68.
Two pillow blocks '|4 and 16 are located at the forward end and outer edges of the main body portion 26 and are suitably attached to themembers 28 and 30 respectively by means of bolts '|8.` The pillow blocks are in axial alignment for rotatably.V supporting a shaft 80.y The outer end portions 82 and 84 of the shaft 80 are provided with threads thereon for purposes later described. A grinding wheel 88, having a V shaped outer surface is disposed on the end portion 88 against the outer surface of the pulley wheel 86. A locking washer 90 and a nut 92 hold the grinding wheel 88 rigidly to the shaft 30.
A lock disk 84 is threadedly attached to the end portion 82V against the bearing 14 and is held in place by a nut 96.
A support bracket or shelf |00, approximately Z shaped in cross section is disposed against the arms 'and22. The support |00 has a downwardly extending portion |02, having at least two apertures. The arms 20 and 22 ofthe new device have corresponding apertures for receiving bolts |04 to attach the support member |00 to the arms 20 and 22.

Openings are formed between the ends or guides |28 and upper end portions or guides ||4 for receiving a cutter bar |30 having a plurality lof teeth |32. Y

angle iron bar guide positioned on the flange on inclined arm of the bar guide for retaining a cutter bar with blades thereon positioned to engage the grinding wheel, one of said guideshaving 5 tapering sides providing a point for positioning the blades in registering relation with the grinding wheel, and a handle extended from the swinging frame whereby the frame is drawn down wardly to bring'the grinding wheel into engagement with the blades.
