repeating this procedure at difierent locations in the wall, the entire wall may be thus treated with only a small amount of insecticide being required to completely fill the inside of the wall with a fog of the mixture. After the treatment has been concluded at each aperture in the wall, said aperture may be plugged up in any suitable manner, and inasmuch as only a small aperture is required, it is a relatively simple matter to hide the aperture. I
While a specific embodiment of an improved spray gun for distributing a fog of insecticide or the like inside building walls has been disclosed in the foregoing description, it will be understood that various modifications within the spirit of the invention may occur to those skilled in the art. Therefore, it is intended that no limitations be placed on the invention except as defined by the scope of the appended claims.
What is claimed is:' 1 1. A spray gun comprising a gun body having a first passage fo r air under pressure and a second passage for liquid spaced from said first passage, a discharge nozzle connected to one end of said second-passage, a sleeve having one end arranged in confronting relation with respect to one endv of said gun body adjacent said nozzle, a cylin-, drical flange on the confronting end of said sleeve embracingly surrounding said nozzle'and secured tdsaid one end of said gun body, said flange bemg spaced from said nozzle to provide a space therebetween, said space being in communication with the adjacent one end of said first passage,
there being a plurality of spaced longitudinally extending port extending inwardly from the other endof said sleeve' and terminating in and in communication with said space, a longitudinal tube having one end extending into the other end 'of said sleeve and embracing said discharge nozzle, a second longitudinal tube circumposed about and spaced from said first named tube and having one end fixedly secured to the other end of said sleeve, the space between said first and second named tubes being in communication with tube forming a mixing chamber for the liquid discharge through the central aperture of said second end wall and the air discharged through the spaced securement of said second end wall.
2. A spray gun comprising a gun body having a first passage for air under pressure and a second passage for liquid spaced from said first passage, a discharge nozzle connected to one end of said second passage, a sleeve having one end arranged in confronting relation with respect to one end of said gun body adjacent said nozzle, a cylindrical flange on the confronting end of said sleeve embracingly surrounding said nozzle and secured to said one end of said gun body, said flange being spaced from said nozzle to provide a space therebetween, said space being in com.- munication with the adjacent one end of said first passage, there being a plurality of spaced longitudinally extending ports extending inwardly from the other end of said sleeve and termin ating in and in communication with said space, a longitudinal tube having one end extending into the other end of said sleeve and embracing said discharge nozzle, a second longitudinal tube circumposed about and spaced from said first named tube, an outwardly extending flange on one end of said second tube and having one face abutting against the other end of said sleeve, 9. coupling nut bearing against the other face of said outwardly extending flange and embracingly secured to the other end of said sleeve, the space between said first and second named tubes being in communication with said plurality ofspaced longitudinally extending ports of said sleeve, an end wall provided with a plurality of spaced apertures on the other end of said tube, the other end of said first named tube being spaced from said end wall of said second named tube, and a second end wall provided with a centrally disposed aperture on the other end of said first named tube and spacedly secured to the adjacent portion of said second named tube, said second and first named end walls and the adjacent portion of said second named tube forming a. mixing chamber for the liquid discharge through the central aperture of said second end wall and the air discharged through the spaced securement of said second end wall. 1
