Additionally, it is proposed that any material having the necessary strength and rigidity may be used in manufacturing our invention.

In the modification depicted in Figs. 6, '7, 8, the trackway indicated by the numeral I5 is hinged at 16, is provided at the hinge region with an angular cut-out i! in the side walls [8. The inner ends of thetrackways I5 are raised as at l9, and the limitsof said ends are recessed or depressed at 2B. The rollers R, indicated in dotted lines, having pins P are slidable in this trackway and the rollers R supported on pins P as they travel over, the raised portions I9 are precluded from accidental dislodgement. As depicted in Fig. 8 the outer portions of the; modified trackway can ,be elevated to upright position, when desired. Additionally, any tendency of rollers R to roll outwardly is prevented by recessed or depressed portions 20.

In all embodiments of the invention disclosed,

the inner terminal portions of the trackways carry or sustain the weight of the bed or other article when the outer portions of the trackways are elevated.

.We, claim: 7 V l. The combination of a'channeled member and a standard supporting said member, said member having a bottom and apair of oppositely disposed side walls extending in the same direction from said bottom and cooperating therewith to form a trackway adapted to guidably receive a part projecting from a structure to be carried by said member, a pintle carried by andextending in opposite directions from the member, said member comprising an elongated portion and a shorter portion, said portions ex- 4 tending in opposite directions from the location of said pintle, the standard comprising a base and a pair of parallel elements extending in the same direction from said base and pivotally receiving said pintle, said shorter portion being hookshaped and having a curved bight portion forming a pocket between said pintle and the outer end of said shorter portion for receiving the part projecting from said structure and cooperating with the projecting part to swing said channeled member about said pintle.

. 2. The structure as defined in claim'l wherein the pocket is depressed with respect to the rest of the channeled member and the pintle is pivotally and removably received by the parallel elements.

3. The structure as defined in claim 1 wherein the pintle is carried by the bottom of the channeled member.

4. The combination of a bed including a pair of legs pivoted beneath one end thereof and another pair of legs pivoted beneath the other end, a pair of channeled members each having a bottom and a' pair of oppositely disposed side walls extending inthe same direction from said bottom and cooperating therewith to form a trackway, each trackway slidably receiving the free end of one of said legs, the channeled members extending in parallelism to each other, a pintle carried by and extending in opposite directions from eachof said channeled members, each channeled 'member comprising an elongated portion and a shorter portion, the portions extending in opposite directions from the locations of the pintles, a. pair of standards each comprising a base and including a pair of parallel elements extending in the same direction from said base and pivotally receiving the pintles, each shorter portion being hooked -shaped and having a curved bight portion forming a pocket between said pintle and the outer end of said shorter portion for receiving the end slidable in the channeled member and for cooperating with said end to swing the channeled member about its pintle.

5. The structure as defined in claim 4 in which each of the pockets is depressed with respect to the rest of its channeled member and the pintles are carried by the bottom of the channeled members and are pivotally and removably received by the pairs of parallel elements.
