My invention `consists inthe construction, arrangement, and combination of the variousrparts ofthe device, whereby thei'objects contemplated are attained as hereinafter'more fullyfsetfforth, pointed out in my` claims, andillustratedv in the i accompanying drawings, in'which:

By this arrangement, the screen orglass portion not positioned in the' opening II canbe' laterally moved into its respective portion of the compartment I2 where it does not interfere with the opening I I. Here it is in a storage place safe from' damage or breakage,yet is instantlyavailable for use without any lifting or carrying. To

move any respective glass or screenk'member it f isnecessary only to grasp the respective peg'grip members and laterally slide the respective frame as desired into or out of the opening II.

In my door, neither the glass panel nor screen l member has any partitions or other supports or braces visible in the opening it and thereby a f clear unobstructed glass panel or screen inthe opening II is provided.

When this door is used as a storm door the compartment I2 further providesfan air space that serves to aid in retarding the passage of cold air to the inside. i

If desired, the screen may be moved partially into the opening I I, and the other portion of the opening closed by the glass frame member, there- Y by making any combination of screen-glass closure desired. By the opening II, being vertically and centrally located, a very attractive door is provided, and one that gives' excellent building. l i Y,

Some changes may be made in the construction and arrangement oi my door without departing from the real spirit and-purpose of my invention, and it is my intention to cover by my claims, any modified forms of structurefor. use

Iclaim:\ 1. In a door having an elongated verticalopenf ing in itscenter, a storage area in said door at each side of said opening, a closure means capable of closing said door opening at times, and also capable of residing iny thestorage area" at one side of the opening of said door when not in use, and a second closure means having' characteristics diierent than said first closure means; capable of closing said door opening at timesv and also capableof residing in the storage area at the other side of the opening of said door'when not in use. 2. In a door having an opening less than onen half of.4 its dimension in one direction, a storage areain said door at each side of` said opening, a closure means capable of `closing saidwdoor 4 opening at times and also capable of residing in the storage area at one side of the opening of said door when not in use, and a second closure means having characteristics different than said nrst closure means; capable of closing said door opening at times and kalso capable of residing in the storage area at the other side of the opening of said door when not in use.

In a door having an opening, a storage "chamber in said door and adjacent said door opening, a second storage vchamber in said door and adjacent said door opening, a screen clo- "sure capable of being positioned in said door opening at times for closing same and also can pable of residing in one of said storage chambers when not in'use, and a window closure capable ci being positioned in said door opening at times for closing the same and also capable of residing in said other storage chamber when not in use. l

4. In a door having an opening, -a storage chamber in said door and adjacent said door visibility. Furthermore, air may pass into or 'i out of the room through the screen adjacentthe room floor, as well as near-the ceiling of the Y sov opening, a second storage chamber in saiddoor and adjacent said door opening and positioned opposite from said iirst storage chamber, a screen "closure capable of being positioned in said door opening at times for closing the same and also oapable'of residing in one of said storage chambers when not in use, and a window closure capable of being positioned in said door opening at times for closing the same and also capable of residing in said other storage chamber when not in use.

5. In a door having an opening, a storage chamber adjacent said door opening, a second storage chamber adjacent said door opening; said storage chambers being in communication with saidY door openings, `a track means in said door extending substantially across said opening and chambers at the upper and lower edges thereof, a screen closure slidably mounted on said l*track means and capable of being slid thereon fior closing fthe same.

6. In a door having an elongated vertical opening extendingv from adjacent its top. center to adjacent its bottom center, a storage chamber in said door adjacent said door opening, a second storage chamber in said door adjacent said door opening, a screen closure capable of being positioned in said door opening and also capable of residing in one of said storage chambers when not in use, and a window closure capable of being positioned in said door opening and also capable of residing in said other storage chamber when not in use.
