  • An automatic alarm device as described in claim 4, in combination with a pin secured to the arm, and a stationary abutment arranged and positioned to be engaged by said pin for retaining the arm, against the action of said spring means, in its axial position for rendering the dialing mechanism inoperative and to release said pin upon rotationof the arm and the rod by the said dog.
