The formation of the bag is such that a substantially airtight receptacle is formed, thereby eliminating the objectionable odor of fish or game in the car.

With the above and other objects in view, my invention consists in the arrangement, combination and details of construction disclosed in the drawings and specification, and then more particularly pointed out in the appended claims.

Referring to the drawings, the numeral l designates generally a flexible receptacle for use by hunters, tourists and the like for containing game and water or ice for preserving the game while the hunter or tourist is traveling. The receptacle or game bag I0 is formed of a lightweight, flexible material which may be collapsed for storing in a restricted space, as in a portion of the trunk of the automobile, or in the glove compartment, and may be extended when it is desired to place water, ice and game in the re ceptacle.

The receptacle I0 is substantially rectangular in configuration, having a top wall II, a bottom wall l2, end walls I4 and side walls IS. The walls of the receptacle ID are made of fabric which is rubberized to provide a waterproof game bag. The close connection of the interengaging fastening elements 2! .provides a sub stantially airtight closure for the receptacle or bag l0, whereby to eliminate the objectionable odors of fish or game contained within the bag.

In the normal use of the bag ID by the sportsman or tourist, the game or other material contained within the bag is preserved by water or ice, also in the bag, to maintain the game or material in a refrigerated condition. To provide for the draining of the melted ice and the water from the bag It), a suitable draining means is provided in the bottom of the bag.

An opening 24 is formed in the lower wall l2 of the bag It) adjacent one end thereof, substantially below the filler opening IS, the opening 24 extending through the inner and outer fabric walls [6 and I1 and the intermediate rubber wall l8. A nipple 25, or tubular member, extends through the opening 24 to provide for the connection of a suitable drain tube 26. The tubular nipple 25 extends into the bag I0 and a disc, or nut, 21 threadably engages about the outer edge of the inner end of the nipple within the bag. A nut 28 threadably engages on the lower end of the nipple 25 and is adapted to engage the outermost fabric wall I! for clamping the lower wall I! between the inner disc or nut 21 and the outer nut 28.

A filter member 30 is supported within the bag;

The upper end of the drain tube 26 is adapted to be resiliently secured to the lower end of the nipple 25 which extends downwardly a short distance below the lower clamping nut 28.

We claim: A waterproof game bag comprising a flexible to preserve the game receptacle including a fabric outer wall, a fabric inner wall, a flexible waterproof intermediate wall adhesively bonded to the overlying surfaces of said inner and outer walls, said receptacle having an elongated slot on one side thereof constituting an inlet opening, correlated interengaging releasable fastening members on the opposide side edges of said slotfor, closing said inlet opening, said receptacle having a drain opening therein, a threaded tubular member engaging through the bottom wall of said receptacle, clamping members threadably engaging on said tubular member and engaging on opposite sides of said bottom wall adjacent said drain opening, a filter member overlying the inner end of said tubular member, and an annular flexible securing strip engaged about the marginal edge of said filter member for securing said filter member to the bottom wall adjacent said drain opening.
