When the rollers are contacting the wet cloth with sufficient pressure the operator turns the crank handle 42 to move the cloth between the rollers and thus press out the water absorbed thereby. The cloth may be released from the pressure of the rollers at any time by simply raising the foot from the treadle so that the spring will move the roller 33' out of engagement with the cloth.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new and wish to secure by Letters Patent is:
