A bomb rack comprising a relatively fixed member, a bomb encircling band secured at one end to said member, a pair of spaced plates secured to said fixed member, a lock finger on said plates and rotatable about an axis passing through both plates, a seat on said lock finger spaced outwardly of said axis and facing in a direction opposite the direction of pull of said band, a strap clamp engaged at one end insaid seat, means positively connecting the other end of said bomb encircling band to the-strap clamp, and releasable means on said plates normally engaging the other end of said strap clamp to prevent movement of said clampand hence rotation of said lock finger. A bomb rack comprising a relatively .fixed member, a band adapted to encircle at lease one bomb and secured at one end to said fixed member, a pair of spaced parallel plates secured to said fixed member, a lock finger pivotally mounted on said spaced plates and having an outwardly extending portion provided with a seat facing in a direction opposite the direction of the pull of said band, a strap clamp engageable at one end in said seat, the other end of said clamp being received between the said spaced .plates, means positively connecting the other end of said band to said clamp, and releasable means for securing said other end of the strap clamp between said plates.

In a bomb rack, releasable retaining means for the bomb, said means comprising a bomb encircling band, a pair of spaced parallel plates secured to the bomb rack, means on the rack for adjustably securing one end of said band, pivot means on said plates, a lock finger rotatably mounted about said pivotmeans and having an outwardly extending portion forming a seat facing in opposite direction to'the direction of pull on said bomb encircling band, said finger having a portion extending in a direction substantially at rightangles to said seat portion, a strap clamp having means intermediate its ends positively connecting it to the other end of said hand, one end of the clamp being adapted to engage said seat, the clamp and finger being adapted to be swung in unison to'bring the finger into engagement with the bomb rack and the other end of said clamp between said plates, and re-' leasable means for retaining said other endof the clamp between the plates.
