invention relatesto abatlr tub construction ion-babies, adapted tot-be folded into a cabinet when not in: use, and"- -'toi be supported by said oabinetwhen int-user It long been customary:- to v construct a babys batl-r on a table formed therewith, This eonstruction which has legs supported on the floor is carried from the babys room into the bathroom. When the bath is finished the construetion i-smoved-backto thebabys room, beoausethe already-crowded bathroom or ordinary size -Was-too-small to permit its remaining in the bathroom.
' Itis amongthe objects of this invention'to solve this problem and to provide a babys-bath thatisleft man-ct is always available for instant use in-the bathroom; My invention contemplates 3.- babys bath construction adaptedto be attached. to the bathroom wall and to form therewith a cabinet oi sufficient size tqhousea foldable tub,
easily" and quickly usable and supported by said cabinet; without the need of; floor leg-s. Myin-- vention also ineludes the providing of an unobtrnsi-ve'qabinet, small insize, yetadequate in space, conveniently placed adjacentthe bathroom tub, and attractive in appearance, My constructii n isi asy'oii ac ment toany a oo wal economical of construction, safe and convenient in operation and lasting in wear.
invention also ontemplates such other objects, advantages and. apabilities as will later more fully appear and which are inherently pos ess d by y in ention v v Wh e. to the wall or other support. In this installed position my frame and the wall form a cabinet.
for my collapsible bath tub construction.
As a support for drying and dressing the baby after the bath, I provide a roller rotatably attached to said side members l2 and having rolled thereon a member 28 made of duck or other suitattached a supporting board 29 having a hook 30 adapted to be removably attached to an engaging member 3| on front rail H.
A rod 32 attached to the front of top member 24 is adapted toreceive a curtain 33 extending down to base member II to cover the interior of my construction when not in use, and to be moved aside to permit use of my device.
Having thus described my invention, I claim:
, l. A baby's bath cabinet device comprising a frame adapted to be attached to a wall, said frame having sufficient depth and co-operating with said wall to form a cabinet, a pair of spaced supporting arms pivotally attached at their inner ends to opposite'bottom portions of said frame and pivotable on a vertical axis, a pair of spaced rods pivotally attached at their inner ends to opposite top portions of said frame, a collapsible bath tub having a front rail, a back rail and a tub of leak-proof material extending between and attached to said rails, said arms movable diagonally forwardly and downwardly to removably engage said front rail, said rods pivotally attached at their outer ends to said rear rail, said arms and rods in forwardly moved position holding said tub in open position for use, said arms removable from engagement with said rails 30 that said bath tub may be collapsed with said rails in contacting position and moved rearwardly with said rods in vertical position for storage within said cabinet, said arms movable diagonally rearwardly and upwardly to a vertical position for contact with the exterior of said frame.
