Posigether with the bevel gears M and I5. v tioned on the upper side of this main-casing cover 2 and communicating with the .waxing and polishing brushes is the wax reservoir receptacle 3, as shown best in Figs. 2 and 3 of the drawings. tacle 3 are the reservoir outletvalve members f. These reservoir outlet valve members 4 are screw threaded in theupper side of the wax reservoir receptacle 3 and are vertically adjustable in axial alignment with the waxing andpolishing brushes 5, as shown best in Figs. 2 and 3 of the drawings. These wax reservoir outlet valve members 4 are provided with adjusting handles 4a which are positioned at the'outer upper side of the wax reservoir receptacle 3, as shown best in Figs. 2 and 3 of the drawings. Positioned on the lower end of the reservoir outlet valve members 4 are conical shaped valve head portions 4b' which are arranged to engage seat portions 40 in the bottom of the wax reservoir receptacle 3 above each of the waxing and polishing brushes 5.
Referring particularly to Fig 5 of the drawings', it will be observed that the waxing and polishing brush illustrated therein, is connected in rigid relation with the brush connection 001- lar 6. This brush connection collar 6 is annular in form and is positioned'internally of the central opening 50. of the waxing and polishing brush 5 and this brush connection collar 6 Connected with the wax reservoir recepconveyor screw II is connected with the wax distributing connection member 8 by means of the nut Ila. and this wax conveyor screw H is arranged to revolve in the wax conductor tube Ill. The wax distributing connection member 8 is provided with angularly disposed openings 8a therein at opposite sides of the lower end of the wax conveyor screw I I. These openings 8a in the wax distributing connection member 8 are angularly disposed so that wax being emitted therefrom is directed downwardly and outwardly toward the bristles of the waxing and polishing brush-5, as indicated by broken lines in Fig. 5
is provided with a central opening 6a there- 7 in concentrically of the waxing and polishing brush 5. Secured in screw threaded relation with this brush connection collar 6 internally thereof is the wax distributing connection'member 8. This wax distributingconnection member 8 is arranged-to be rigidly connected with the brush connection 'collar 6 in its screw threaded relation therewith and the wax distributing connection member 8 is internally screw'threaded and arranged to engage the exconnected one of the worm gears f4 driven by the worm gear l5 mounted on the shaft of the motor l6, as shown best in Figs. 1 and 5 of the drawings. The shafts I! are supported in roller bearings Fla and I'll) which are held in secure relation intermediate the main casing and the main casing cover 2, as shown best in Fig. 4 of the drawings. The bale member I8 is pivotally mounted at opposite sides of the main casing I by means of the bolts 18a, as shown best in Fig. 2 of the drawings. This bale member I8 is substantially U-shaped and connected therewith is the upwardly extending handle l9, as shown best in Figs. 2 and 3 of the drawings. This handle I9 is arranged for use in maneuvering my floor waxing and polishing machine about when in operation or when moving my floor waxing and polishing machine from one place to another.
Pivotally mounted on the bale member |8 adjacent each ofthe bolts |8a. is one of the bale latch members 20. As shownbest' in Fig. 6 of the drawings each of these bale latch members 20 is pivotally mounted on the" bale member l8 by'rneans of a pin 20a. One end of the bale latch member 20, as shown in Fig. 6 of the drawings, is provided with a hook portion20b arranged to engage arecess' |"c in the main casing I near the bolts |8a for holding the pale member H3 in sub-.
