The sections have a straight horizontal portion, such as indicated at 22, and an end extension 23 which is disposed at right angles to the portion 22. The sectional formation of the rod is shown in Fig. 6, where it will be seen that the body of the rod is fiat and that the opposite longitudinal marginal edges are bent upon themselves to form channels 24. These channels receive the tongues l8 of the bracket plates i5 while the tangs l9 frictionally bear against the body of the rod to hold the rod in its assembled and supporting position with relation to the end. The yoke 28 provides a socket into which the end 23 of a curtain rod 20 may extend. The end 23 of the rod is free to receive tongue I8 of the bracket plate. Thus, the curtain rod 20 and the extension brackets 26 will all be supported upon the two bracket plates at opposite sides of the window opening. The rod seat 29 is here shown as being cylindrical and tubular. The member extends vertically and has a longitudinal slot 30 in its side wall. The rod 32 is intended to be used as a hanger structure here disclosed comprises simple inexpensive concealed bracket plates carrying one or more rods which may be assembled and removed separately and which can be adjusted to any window opening.

While I have shown the preferred form of my invention as now known to me, it will be understood that various changes may be made in combination, construction, and arrangements of parts by those-skilled in. the ant, without departing-from thespirit of my invention as claimed.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent is:
