I claim as my invention:
1. A combined shield and supply container unit for welders comprising a base member having a closed front and sides and a partially closed top, the bottom and rear thereof being open, and a housing element secured to each side of the base adjacent the open rear thereof to provide the outer and bottom walls of a rod compartment,
the inner Wall of which is formed by the adjacent" side portion of the base.
2. A combined shield and supply container unit for welders comprising a base member having a closed front and sides and a partially closed top,
ing element secured to each side of the base adjacent the open rear thereof to provide the outer and bottom walls of a rod compartment, the inner wall of which is formed by the adjacent side portion of the base, and a heat insulating lining for each rod compartment and for the inner face of the base, the lining for the base extending across the lower edge thereof. and the lining for each rod compartment conforming in size and shape thereto and having an open top.
4. A combined shield and supply container unit for welders comprising a base member having a closed front and sides and a partially closed top, the bottom and rear thereof being open, and a housing element secured to each side of the base adjacent the open rear thereof to provide the outer and bottom walls of a rod compartment, the inner wall of which is formed by the adjacent side portion of the base, the base member providing a support for mounting the essential equipment of a welder.
5. A combined shield and supply container unit for welders comprising a base member having a closed front and sides and a partially closed top, the bottom and rear thereof being open, a housing element secured to each side of the base adjacent the open rear thereof to provide the outer and bottom walls of a rod compartment, the inner wall of which is formed by the adjacent side portion of the base, and supporting means at the top of the base for carrying the unit.
