The present invention relates to new and useful improvements in shoe heels and has for one of its important objects to provide, in a manner as hereinafter set forth, a device of this character which is adapted to be rotatably adjusted whereby a new wearing surface may be Aconveniently brought intoposition when desired.

Another very important object of the invention is to provide a. circular shoe heel of the character described comprising a. rotatably adjustable lift which may be convenientlyv removed for replacement when necessary.

vStill another very important object of the invention is to provide a circular shoe heel comprising unique means for releasably securing the rotatable lift in adjusted position.

Other objects of the invention are to provide I a circular, rotatably adjustable shoe heel ofthe character set forth which will be comparatively simple in construction, durable, attractive in appearanceand which may be manufactured at low cost.

It is thought that the manner in which the heel functions will be readily apparent from a consideration of the'foregoing..v Briefly, with the' screw I0 tightened, the ribs on the body I and the lift l interlock and said lift is thus secured rmly in adjusted position. When it is desired to rotatably adjust the lift 1 to bring a new wearing surface into position, the screw I0 is simply loosened. To replace the lift 1, the screw I0 is screwed out of the nut 9.

It is believed that the manyv advantages of a circular shoe heel constructed in accordance with the present invention will be readily understood and although a preferred embodiment is as illustrated and described, it is to be understood that changes in the details of construction may be resorted to which will fall within the scope of the invention as claimed.

What is claimed is:

1. A shoe heel comprising a. circular body secured beneath the lheel portion of a shoe, said body having a substantially conical recess therein, a circular lift mounted beneath the body and 'including a substantially conical projection en- ,gaged in the recess, and means rotatably and adjustably securing the lift in position beneath the body, said means including a. substantially coni- Acal nut embedded in the apex of the projection,
