-.In the movement of the drawers in-andout of thecontainer inwhich the draweris adapted to operate, it is desirable that as much freedom of movement as possible shall be obtained. The, patent application of which this is a division was a continuation in part. of my copending application Serial No. 693,841, filed October 16, 1933, Patent-No. 2,233,906, issued March 4, 1941, in which I have shown novel. construction. for facilitating the movement of a drawer in a collapsible casing, and of my copending application Serial No. 739,962 filed August. 15,1934, Patent No..

In the aforesaid applications, I have shown a substantiallyflat bottom drawer of fibrous sheet,
material with novel wheel and track construction. This construction is generally very efficacious in reducing the friction between the drawer andthe container, but I have found that with certain drawer loadings, the drawer bottom. will sag or bow an amount to permit the drawer bottom to make contact with the bottom of the casing unless the wheels and tracks or fails are so mounted bottom of the subjacent part. If the drawer bottom should sag under loading a sufficient amount.

In Figure l, I have shown a form of folding drawer described in detail in my Patent No. 2,233,906 which has already been referred to. In Figures 2 to 7, I have shown a further feamm which may be applied to my drawers, comprising wheels secured to the base or floor member thereof for riding on a track in the casing. As shown in Figure 6, a flat member 4| preferably made of metal may be provided with prongs stamped therefrom and may be scored to form a predetermined bending line at 43 and 44. At 45, the metal is punched out forming a pin support at the openings 46 and 47 for a roller when the metal is turned along the scorings 43 and 44 into the form shown in Figures 4 and 5.
A pin 5| having its ends 52 and 53 of reduced diameter protruding through the openings 46 and 41. and provided with the caps 54 and 55 carries the ring 56. Between the rollers 56 and 57, the roller ball bearings 53 are supported for permitting a free rotation of the caster 59. The member II, after being formed into the shape in Figure 4, is secured to the inner and outerside walls of the drawer by its prongs as shown in Figures 2 and 3, the side of .member 4! coming opposite the inner side well being admitted therein through a suitable slot formed in the bottom wall.
Secured to the base of the casing is a member 48 (Figures 7 and 2) having the dimensions substantially equal to the inner dimensions of the bottom of the casing and having the tracks 49 and 56 formed therein at positions at which the rollers 59 will ride in the tracks. In a further form of my invention, these tracks may be constructed as an inherent part of the base or bottom sections of the casing, as will be described in further detail.
In a further modification, the wheel members similar to those shown in Figures 2. to 7 may be combined with track members on the drawer, and at the same time the track members maybe used to reinforcethe bottom drawer corners. Such modification is illustrated in Figures 8 t0 10.
Such a track may obviously cooperate with a roller on the casing in the manner set forth in my parent application above mentioned.
As shown in Figure 8, the drawer 50 is provided with the track members ISI provided with the track 62 adapted to coact with a wheel mounted upon the inside of a casing. The track member 6| has the prongs 63 and 54 by which it may be attached to the drawer blank, the prongs 53 being applied to the side wall panel and the prongs 64 being applied to the bottom panel of the drawer blank. The track member BI is thus adapted to fit partly over the side wall of the drawer and partly over the bottom of the drawer. As applied to the drawer blank the side wall and bottom wall portion are in the same plane, but when the drawer blank is folded into assembled position, the track member BI is bent on the bending line 65 and forms an angle reinforcement for the drawer.
As shown in Figure 8 and in greater detail in Figure 9, a portion of the track member may be bent to form a channel having the flange 66 adapted to pass through a slot in the bottom of the drawer and to be fastened to the inside of the side wall of the drawer, as for instance by prongs 61.
At this channel shaped portion, the track member 6| has the punched out portions 61, 68 and 69, the latter two openings being shaped to support the axle I0, and the hole 6'! being shaped to permit the wheel 'II mounted Within the channel portion to extend through the member 6| in order to cooperate with a suitable track, such for instance as that shown in Figure 13 which has already been described.
While in Figure 10, I have shown a wheel with plain bearings, it will be readily understood that a wheel having roller ball bearings as in Figure 5 may be used in connection with the track mem-- ber of Figures -8 and 9, or that a plain bearing may be used in Figures 2, 3 and 4 in place of the roller bearing shown in Figure 5.
In any event, it should be noted that the members maybe true rolling members or not as the specific need demands, and that rollers 58 (of. Figure 5) may be used as required.
In connection with Figure '7, I have shown that a track member for the casing may be provided on a separate bottom pad. Other types of pad 'members may, of course, be used as described in my Patent No. 2,200,319.
In Figures 11 to 15 I have shown the use of a plurality of flanges.
In Figures 11, I have shown a blank of sheet material I5I provided with suitable score lines to wall extension I to receive the flaps I when the drawer is folded into position. The bottom flanges may be provided with the cut out portions I63 to allow space for a wheel, which may be mounted on the flanges in a manner as will presently be described. The side Wall panel I52 is deeper than the side wall extension I53 by an amount substantially equal to the depth of the flanges I58. In this manner, when the blank is folded into position on its score lines, the extra depth of the sidewalls forms a portion of the flanges of double thickness shown at I58 in Figure 13.
The rear panel I54 may be provided with the wings I64, and the rearpanel extension may be provided with the wings I55. These wings, in the folded position of the blank are held in place between the side wall and the side wall extension, and act to hold the rear wall to the side walls.

Such a metal faced front is indicated in Figure 12. This front may be united with the body. flank II by inserting the flaps I59 at the front end ofthe bottom I56 between the back I16 of the front pan-e1 and the metallic member I11. The metallic member I11 is then pressed down and clamps the front face to the body member, which forms the completed blank for the drawer which may be shipped in a substantially flat condition to be set up by the user without the need of any tools or additional parts.
As will be seen in Figure 13 and in greater detail in Figure 14, the channel I13 may be cut out as at I18 to accommodate the wheel I19 mounted on the axle I89 and extending below the bottom face of the channel I13, substantially in the same manner as has been described in connection with Figure 9. The openings I63 provided in the flanges, permit the wheel to operate in the plane of the flanges. A proper track may be provided in the casing for each of the wheels on the drawer.
While I have shown the drawer body as being formed from a single blank of material, I may construct the body from a plurality of blanks united with each other at any of the bottom flanges. Thus it may be seen that if the body blank is composed of three separate pieces ending where the score lines I12 are shown in Figure 11, these three pieces would be united into. a uniting structure at the flanges I58 by the metallic channels I13.
This invention is obviously capable of many and varied uses. I prefer, therefore, to be limited not by the specific disclosure herein, but only by the appended claims. I

A collapsible drawer and casing therefor, said drawer being adapted to be slidably supported in said casing; said drawer having score lines along the edges thereof along which the walls of said drawer arecollapsible into a substantially flat unit; a track member comprising a metallic angle member secured along the bottom edges of said drawer extending longitudinally along the bottom and sideof said drawer to form a reinforcing edge therefor; a predetermined bend line formed in said angle member topermit collapse of said drawer; the portion of said metallic member extending along the bottom having a hole for receiving a roller; a bearing secured to the portion of said metallic member extending along the side adjacent to said hole; and a roller mounted on said bearing for permitting rolling movement of said drawer within said casing.

A collapsible drawer and casing therefor, said drawer being adapted to be slidably supported in said casing; said drawer having score lines along the edges thereof along which the walls of said drawer are collapsible into a substantially flat unit; a track member comprising a metallic angle member secured along the bottom edges of said drawer extending longitudinally along the bottom and side of said drawer to form a reinforcing edge therefor; the portion of said metallic member extending along the bottom having a hole for receiving a roller;
- a bearing secured to the portion of said metallic member extending along the side adjacent to said hole; and a roller mounted on said bearing for permitting rolling movement of said drawer within said casing.

A collapsible drawer and casing therefor, said drawer being adapted to be slidably supported in said casing; said drawer having score lines along the edges thereof along which the walls of said drawer, are collapsible into a substantially flat unit; a track member comprising a metallic angle member secured along the bottom edges of said drawer extending longitudinally along the bottom and side of said drawer to form a reinforcing edge therefor; the portion of said metallic member extending along the I bottom having a hole for receiving a roller; a
