It has previously been stated that the guides 35! are spaced from the edges of the tray 22 and the purpose of this spacing is two-fold; first to make it possible for the guides 30 to be entirely within the contour of the frame members, and second to provide a surface which may lie against the sloping faces of the frame members when the tray 22 is folded up.
Hinged to one of the facing strips as at 36, Figures 1 and 2, is a casing top having a fiat surface 38 and sloping sides at. This top is hinged at one edge to a facing strip as clearly shown in Figure 2 and when folded over to the position shown in Figure 1, its opposite edge rests in the recess formed by the facing strip 32 and the opposite frame member. The sloping edges 48 overlap the top edges of the trays M and 22 when the latter are folded up to the position shown in Figures 1 and 3, thereby forming a complete closure.
The portion id of the sheet delivery tray is supported in its horizontal position by links 42 and A l, the latter being suitably slotted and connected by pins to the side frames in order to permit the hinged portion 54 of the tray to be folded upwardly.
The side guides for the paper are made in two parts, the part It being pivoted to the part l9. This latter portion of each guide is adjustable along a slot 23, as is usual in machines of this character.
When the machine is in use, the trays are opened up as in Figure 2. The top, however, may either be folded back as in Figure 2 or may be folded over into the position shown in Figure 1 while the trays are in the Figure 2 position.

What I claim is:
1. A casing for a duplicating machine having a cylinder and pressure roll, together with a sheet delivery and a sheet receiving tray, said casing having side members supporting said cylinder and roll, said trays foldable to form the end members of the casing and a top hinged to one of said side members and foldable to position to cooperate with and overlap the upper edges of said trays when the latter are in folded position.
2. A casing for a duplicating machine having parallel side members for supporting the operative parts of the machine, said members having a straight upper edge, a top hinged to one of said side members and cooperating with the other side member when in closed position and providing a level surface upon which the sheets to be printed upon may conveniently be assembled.
3. A casing for a duplicating machine having a base and side members for supporting the operating parts of the machine, said side members having a flat upper edge with sloping sides, a sheet receiving and a sheet delivering tray, each hinged within the casing and when folded up conforming to the contour of the sloping sides of said members, and a top hinged to one of said side members and cooperating with the other side member and with said tray portions when the latter are folded up, to form a complete closure.
4. A casingfor a duplicating machine having parallel side members for supporting the operative parts of the machine, said members having a straight upper edge, a top having a flat portion and hinged to one of said side members and cooperating with the other side members when in closed position and providing a level surface upon which the sheets may conveniently be aligned, a sheet delivery and a sheet receiving tray each hinged within the casing, said trays when folded up cooperating with the side members and said top to form a complete closure.
5. In a duplicating machine having side frames for supporting the operative parts of the machine, said frames each having a flat upper face and sloping lateral faces, a casing for said machine including facing strips, said strips overlying the outer edges of the frame faces but stopping short of the inner edges thereof thereby forming shoulders, the space between the shoulders constituting recesses, foldable sheet delivery and sheet receiving trays adapted in folded position to lie against the frames along the sloping faces thereof and fitting into said recesses.
6. In a duplicating machine having side frames for supporting the operative parts of the machine, said frames each having a fiat upper face and sloping lateral faces, a casing for said machine including facing strips, said strips overlying the outer edges of the frame faces but stopping short of the inner edges thereof thereby forming shoulders the space between the shoulders constituting recesses, foldable sheet delivery and sheet receiving trays adapted in folded position to lie against the frames along the sloping faces thereof and fitting into said recesses, and a top hinged at one edge to one of said facing strips, the opposite edge of said top when folded over fitting into the recess between the opposite frame and its facing strip, the sides of said top overlapping the folded-up trays.
7. In a duplicating machine having side frames for supporting the operative parts of the machine, said frames each having a fiat upper face and sloping lateral faces, a casing for said machine including facing strips, said strips overlying the outer edges of the frame faces but stopping short of the inner edge thereof thereby forming shoulders, the space between the shoulders constituting recesses, foldable sheet delivery and sheet receiving trays adapted in folded position to lie against the frames along the sloping faces thereof and fitting into said recesses, and a top having a fiat surface and slightly rounded sides hinged at one edge to one of said facing strips, the opposite edge of said topwhen folded over fitting into the recess between the opposite frame and its facing strip, its rounded sides overlapping the folded-up trays.
