saturated with uid when issued from the head of the device and thus assuring a more thorough cleaning operation in the use of said-device than would have been the case if the sprayer were required to be manipulated by either one or another hand of a person independently of the manipulation of the sponge, cloth or other cleaning applicator.
Another object of the invention is the provision of a device of this character wherein the liquid flowv is regulated in a convenient manner in that a trigger is located appropriately for manipulation by a finger or thumb of the hand of a person when the device is worn upon the hand and in this manner a single hand is required for the wearing, the manipulation of and control of fluid flowing through the device leaving the other hand of the operator free for any purpose required.
A further obj-ect of the invention is the provision of a device of this character wherein in the use thereof it will not mar or in any way damage a piece of work resultant from contact by the device and freedom of the hand wearing the device is assured, the device being applicable for spraying all kinds of fluids such as water, paint, insecticide composition or for any purpose that such device is adaptable of performing, being especially adaptable for the cleaning of automobiles, including the windshield glass, door glass, et cetera. y
A still further object of the invention is the provision of a device of this character, which is simple in its construction, thoroughly reliable and efficient in operation, enabling the wearing thereof by the hand of a person without discomfort, easy of operation, and inexpensive to manufacture.
With these and other objects in view, the invention consists in the features of construction,
combination and arrangement of parts as will be hereinafter more fully described, illustrated in the accompanying drawing, which discloses the preferred embodiment of the invention and pointed out in the claim hereunto appended.

Referring tothe drawing in detail, the device constituting the present invention is a refinement over the subject mattei' of United States Letters Patent No. 1,538,961, issued May 26, 1925, and comprises a'hand-embracing handle in the form of a strap-like loop I preferably made from strip metal and through which is passed the hand so that the said loop will underlie the palm of the y hand and overlie the back thereof when the device is worn. This loop I0V has built medially of that portion underlying the palm of the hand,
in this instance, a circular-shaped spray head I I, the strap being constructed to form the frontal portion I2 of this head II and said portionv is perforated at I3 for fluid spray purposes. 'Ihe back I4 of the head II vis convexed to accommo- "d'ate itself in the palm of the hand I5 of a person when such hand is engaged in the handle or loop I0 of the device as appearing in Figure 1 of the drawing.
\ Rising from the loop I 0 at the upper stretch or portion overlying the back ofthe hand I5 is a coupling nipple I6 for hose fitting therewith, a
portion of the hose being indicated at I'I, which is the fluid supply conduit. The nipple is formed with a valve casing-I8 having port communication I9 with the hose I'I or the nipple I6 and `leading from this casing is a delivery tube 20 which opens into the head II so that fluid from the hose I'I will flow into the head and be discharged therefrom through the perforationsv I3 for spray purposes.
Interiorly of the valve casing I8 is a valve seat 2| for a plunger valve 22 which checksor regulates the flo-w of fluid through the device from the hose I'I tov the head II. The valve 22 is urged to seating position by a coiled vspring 23 about said valve at its stem 24, the latter being cleared through a packing gland 25 and is adjustably connected at 26 to a manually operated trigger 21. The trigger 21 isk pivoted at 28 in a bearing or bracket 29 on the loop ID. The trigger 21 is carried outwardly and downwardly at one end of the loop I exteriorly thereof so as t0 be conveniently confronted by the thumb or a finger of the hand I for manipulation thereby. The device can be worn on the right or left hand of a person and when the right hand the thumb operates the trigger 21 and on the left hand the device is actuated by one of the fingers of the hand wearing the same. v
When the loop I0 is upon the hand I5 with the head Il palmed by said hand,` the fingersy as well as the thumb of the hand are free for grasping a sponge 30 or a cloth or other cleaning medium can be grasped for the use thereof by the hand wearing the device.
Normally the valve 22 closes the flow of fluid through the device and by actuating the trigger 21 the ilow of fluid will be had through the device for the spraying of the fluid at the head II through the perforations I3.
The trigger 21 is formed with a fork 3l which straddles the stem 24 for engaging an adjustable abutment 32 upon said stem so that when the trigger is depressed the valve 22 opens for the flow of uid from the hose I1 through the device and its spraying at the head II.
What is claimed is:
A spraying device of the kind described comprising a straplike loop adapted to embrace a hand of a person s-o that a portion of the loop will underlie the palm of the hand and the upper portion overlie the back thereof, a spray head built with the strap medially of the lower portion thereof for fitting the palm of the hand, a hose coupling nipple built on said loop at the upper portion thereof and wholly outside of the same,
, a delivery tube communicative with the said nipple and the said spray head and having a curvature outwardly at substantially right angles to the loop whereby the said tube will be disposed between second and third fingers of the hand for the steadying of the loop when embracing the hand, a valve controlling communication of the tube with the said nipple and disposed laterally to one side of the nipple,v and a lever pivoted to the loop for disposition to one side thereof whereby the thumb of the hand will engage therewith and having operative connection with the valve for its control, the said lever at the thumbengaging end thereof being extended below the lowermost'portion of the loop and further the said lever having a curvature correspondingv to the loop formation at one end thereof'.
