It will beunderstood that the foregoing description is illustrative rather than restrictive of the invention and that changes and modifications may be made Without departing from the spirit and the scope of the subjoined claims, for instanceFThe relative size of cylinders I9, 20, 2B and 28 as well as the length of pistons 22 and 30 may be varied in practice as may be required to vmeet variousactual conditions, such as difierent weights and sizes of doors, taking into account the force necessary to move them.
Having described my invention, what I claim is: l. A mechanism of the character described, comprising a door suspended from an overhead track, a'pair of spaced cylinders parallel-to said track, a piston within the cylinders and spancomprising a door suspended from an overhead track, a cylinder parallel to said track, a piston in said cylinder, lazy tongs having one end connected to the door and the opposite end connected to the cylinder andhaving a roller traveling on said track, an arm connecting one of the pivots of the lazy tongs with the piston, and fluid pressure for operating the piston.
3. A mechanism of the character described, comprising a door suspended from an overhead track, a cylinder parallel to said track, a piston in said cylinder, lazy tongs having one end connected to the door and the opposite end connected to the cylinder and having a roller traveling on said track, an arm connecting one of the pivots of the lazy tongs with the piston,-and a remote control fluid pressure system for operating said piston.

A mechanism of the character described, comprising a door suspended from an overhead track, a pair of spaced cylinders parallel to said track, a piston'within the cylinders and spanning the space between the same, a fluid pressure system for operating the piston in said cylinders for moving the piston in opposite directions, lazy tongs connected at one end to thedoor and its opposite-end connected to one of the cylinders, a pin carried by the piston and connected to one of the pivots of the lazy tongs, a fluid pressure system operating the piston, and a remote hand operated piston in the fluid pressure system for operating the pistons for operating the lazy tongs.
