(buyer Readily produced in any desired sizeto meet the varying size of commodity containersrthe market affords, and from materials obtainable in the open market and at no great cost, the device readily commends itself for simplicity and satisfaction in use.
Finished as desired, in baked enamel colored paint and lacquers, or plated, the device readily lends itself in a handy and attractive manner to the purposes and use for which it was conceived.
I am aware that slight modifications may from time to time be made in the details of structure illustrated without departing, however, from the scope of the present invention, and as defined in the claim which is appended hereto. Hence, I do not limit my present invention to the exact description herein disclosed, but what I do claimq A commodity carrier including a pair of subthe side members between the cross members being upwardly converged, the portions of the side members above the upper cross members being slanted outwardly from the ends of said upper cross members and the distance between the upper end of said outwardly slanted portions being less than the distance between the lower ends of said side members to stabilize the carrier, means pivotally connecting the upper and lower cross members of said frames with one another at points centrally of their ends whereby the frames may be relatively adjusted to provide a carrier space of varying dimensions between said outwardly slanted portions and upon said upper cross members and means for locking said frames in adjusted positions; said means being located on the lower cross members whereby access thereto may be had, and operation thereof be efiected when the carrier space is occupied, said locking means including a disk fixed to one of said lower cross members and having an arcuate series of 1 apertures therein, the other of said lower cross members having an aperture registrable with any one of the apertures of said series, a pin insertable thru the aperture of said crossmember and disk, and a flexible tie element for securing said pin to one of said lower cross members.
