On the upper face of this supporting arm 20 It will thus be apparent that the lifelike moveare mounted the head and neck portions of an ments executed by the operation of the improved 3 animal figure 22 as well as the body portion 24 toy vehicle construction as well as the sounds produced in connection with said operation are such as to be calculated to make the device have a very strong appeal to the class of persons for which it is designed; and also that the described construction constitutes a very simple and strong as well as inexpensive type of construction adapted to be economically manufactured. Moreover, while I have illustrated and described what I have found to represent a very eflicient and satisfactory form of embodiment of the proposed features of improvement, I desire to be understood as reserving the right to make all changes or minor modifications which may fairly be deemed to fall within the spirit and scope of the appended claims.
What I claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent is:
1. A toy jockey vehicle comprising :a frame provided with supporting wheels, a movablearm carrying an animal figure and a jockey figure, said jockey figure including legs composed of pivoted sections forming hip and knee joints and rockably connected with the vehicle frame, and means actuated by the travel of said wheels for transmitting movement to said arm for correspondingly moving said figures to simulate the movements of a jockey riding the animal.
2. A toy jockey vehicle comprising a frame provided with supporting wheels, a movable arm carrying an animal figure and a jockey figure, said jockey figure comprising a body portion mounted on said arm and leg members formed in sections pivotally connected to form knee joints and also pivotally connected with said body portion at points representing hip joints, the feet portions of said leg members being rockably connected with the vehicle frame, and means actuated by the rolling movement of the wheels for transmitting movement to said arm for correspondingly moving said figures to simulate the movements of a jockey riding the animal.
