The present application is directed to one of the species of stove construction therein embodied and comprises more particularly a stove wherein the entire stove body, including ovens, burners and the other essential .parts, which ordinarily constitute a stove, are bodily mounted for rotation upon a track adapted to be fixed on a floor of a kitchen, so that the same may be revolved at the will of the operator to render it more convenient and accessible in the carrying out of its normal functions.
The stove of the present invention may utilize gas, electricity or oil as fuel and the invention includes means whereby such fuel may be fed to the stove uninterruptedly, and irrespective of the rotation thereof and in an entirely safe and efi'icient manner. 7
An important feature of the'invention resides in the'fact that the entire stove construction is rotatable upon a fixed track at floor level, the stove body being provided with a closure, preferably in the form of a skirt which, when lowered, will be positioned closely adjacent the floor to conceal, if desired, the track and the connections of the stove body therewith, but which closure or skirt may be elevated, when-desired, into a position to expose the operating parts in a manner to permit of easy access thereto, should occasion require.

Rigid with the stove body and depending therefrom are a plurality of brackets or bars 8 of which there may be any convenient number. These are stiffened by an annular ring 9 and each carries at its lower end an anti-friction roller l0 grooved to ride on an annular track ii fixed firmly to the floor l2, so as to mount the entire stove body for rotary movement in the axis of 20 the annular track ll.
Gas feed pipe 13 passes through the floor i2 and has a swivel joint connection l4 coaxial with the track l I, so that the pipe I may rotate about the fixed plug of the swivel joint to provide for an uninterrupted feed of gas to the cooks which control the burners. The swivel joint is offset laterally with respect to the pipes 1 and 53, so that the rotation of the stove will not tend to loosen any of the joints in the respective pipes.
The stove body l is provided at its base with an outwardly extending flange l5 embraced by a depending skirt IS, the upper end of which is turned in to form inturned flange l1 adapted to rest upon the flange l5 and support the weight of the skirt. The skirt is sufficiently deep to extend almost to the floor, but to leave suflicient clearance to permit of the rotation of the stove with its skirt I 6, without causing friction between the skirt and the floor. 4 When the skirt is in the lowered position, shown in full lines in the drawingyit will completely cover and conceal the rotatable mounting of the stove body and preclude the entrance of dirt or extraneous matter thereunder. How- 7 ever, the skirt may be lifted into the dotted line position to gain access to these operating parts andthe swivel connection I4 to permit lubrication or other attention thereto. In stoves which havea lower door as shown in the drawing, the flange I? may be cut away in the vicinity of the door to clear the door when the skirt is elevated. In the accompanying drawing, a stove utiliz ing gaseous fuel is shown, but it will be understood that other forms of fuel may be used in which case appropriate feed connections therefor may be substituted for the swivel gas connection described.

A stove comprising anannular' stationary track mounted at'substantially floor level, astove body mounted to bodilyrotate on' said stationary track and having at least-one 'oven'; a'po-tzsup porting top; sources of heat supply-for'the oven' and thestovetop, all bodily rotatable with'the stove body while the trackremains: stationary; and fuel feeding means includingi rotatableconnection'to permit of rotation of the stove body without interfering with'the-c'ontinued feed of" fuel.
