IMPROVEMENT IN HEATING-POTS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 213,926, dated April 1, 1879; application filed October 26, 1877.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HORATIO J. NELSON, of Pentwater, Oceana county, Michigan, have invented an Improvement in Lamp-Boilers, of which the following is a specification:
The invention will first'be described in connection with the drawings, and then pointed out in the claim.
Figure l of the drawings is a side elevation; Fig. 2, a detail perspective View; Fig. 3, a sectional elevation; Fig. 4, a view of burner in vertical section.
A represents the boiler; B, the chimney; G, the burner and D E, water-receptacles about the chimney or heater B.
The chimney, having a downward extension, b, which rests on a circumjacent flange, 0, about the burner, is securely supported on the latter, while the burner receives its usual sup- .ply of air from the bottom, and emits its proport it when the burner is detached, as shownand described.
