I claim:
1. A shipping package comprising spaced similar end plates, each having a channeled peripheral bead with a skirt, means for connecting the plates, and a group oi similar individual con- 10 tainers confined by the 'end plates and within the having adjacent portions oi their ends supported on the plates and outer portions oi' their ends disposed in the mouth oi' the channel. 3. A shipping package comprising a group o similar individual containers, a pair of similar plates each contacting an end o! the group of containers, each plate having a peripheral bead projecting on the side of the plate opposite to the containers and means connecting the plates and holding them in clamping engagement with the containers. l.

An end plate for coniining a group of members into a shipping package comprising a generally iiat supporting member, a peripheral bead on said member and projecting on one side thereoi', said bead having a channel, and the outer wall of the channel projectingV on the other side oi said member and forming a skirt.
